I have over 23 years commercial and pharmaceutical
industry experience, including 20 years with
Abbott. I spent 12 years overseas working for
Abbott in various sales and marketing management
positions in Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Australia
and the UK.
On returning to the UK in 2000, I
was Head of Sales for the Primary Care franchise.
In this role I made a significant contribution
to Abbott UK, in particular
the full integration of the Knoll sales force
into Abbott and further expansion of the sales
team in 2002.
I also had responsibility for the
Sales force Effectiveness (SFE) function in Primary
Care from 2001. In August 2006 I took a secondment
into Abbott Europe where I worked on European
Initiatives. I am a regular SFE speaker and Chairman
at UK and European SFE Congresses In the summer
of 2007 I left Abbott and I am now SFE Director
at Actis Sales Technologies (previously In2Focus
Healthcare Technologies) My primary role is to
help the healthcare industry with innovative
solutions for their SFE journey, particularly
in CRM, Analytics and Learning and Development.
I am passionate about the PSMG having been a member
since 2003 I want to use my role, experience and
contacts to enhance the PSMG meetings content,
to ensure value and improve the working lives of
all PSMG members through education, problem solving
and networking
